this family has had this shop for quite a while, maybe 10 years now but still seem like they are serving some sort of sentence. fish & chips were good quality & good value & way better than the same meal from blowfish. & our $40 worth of chips was chip sandwiches for about 20 people. they close way too early, not sure why
Average service, fish was average (not a big selection, all fairly mild white fish). Potato scallop overdone. Fish a touch oily (crumbed). Bloke behind the counter clearly didn't want to be there, was almost stand offish. Portion size on the chips was pretty good but salting could've been done better - it was just shaken over the top rather than given a quick toss. I grew up on the beach in central Queensland eating a lot of fresh local fish and chips and this left me disappointed.
Good food. Good coffee.

Plenty of seating in park and at restaurant. Fish tacos are delicious. Be warned you get a lot of chips . I left my bag under a table and staff went to no end of trouble to contact me. Thank you.
